Checkout the Wasteland Prospect modlist - basically a complete remaster and is super vanilla friendly. Looks gorgeous and just adds so much polish.

besides the one to stop most of the crashes, qol mods are fairly unnecessary in my experience. prob differs from set up to set up but i'd say go for vanilla first
