Grand Theft Auto V

It's not that this game is better than every game ever made. It has issues. But the thing is, this game is better than every game ever made. This game has a lot of features missing from GTA 4. It doesn't have the detail of RDR2. This game's story has too much high profile government conspiracy instant messaging dark humor bullshit. But when you strip all of that away this game is a landmark in gaming history. In what other game do you have a compelling original story, options to customize a hundred different cars, play tennis, scuba dive out of a submarine in the middle of the ocean only to be eaten by a shark, steal a commercial airline and skydive into meth fields of what mimics the northeast deserts of real-world LA? What game lets you do all of that online as well? What game does all that AND features smooth physics mechanics, clean audio and UI design, and features countless other small gameplay features, such as switching between 1st and third person? I'll wait.

Their best narrative by far. Always needed more, I need to play it on next console to really know anything.

It's probably one of the best games ever made or the best game ever made (considering how much money it's made through online) but personally I've just never played the next gen version, which I will soon do.

Iconic characters, but as usual I want the fun random chaos to be worth a little more in the game. I wish we had destructible environments, I want to play my own music over the radio (I forget if I ever figured out how to do that), I want the deaths of pedestrians to mean a little bit more.

But this was 2013. Hopes are high for GTA 6 but the studio is starting to lose a few people so I predict that its development hasn't been so rosy. We'll see.

Story A+, gameplay B+, cars good feel, game atmosphere great feel, but as always I'm greedy and want more out of the missions. There's just never enough for me to do outside of missions and missions never hit as much as I want. Sometimes I want more difficulty, I forget if that was an option.

Never played online. I been missing out? Seems like I guess.

This is by far the best game in the Grand theft auto franchise, mainly because we now have three protagonists to play as with each of them having a compelling storyline that intertwine with each other flawlessly.

It does suffer from the same problems the other games in the franchise have, namely that plot progression tends to meander as the game goes on. That's what stops this from being a perfect game as here it can be confusing as to which of the three protagonists needs to be at a location for a mission to start. This is also a nitpick that can make me come off as woke to some, but I feel Mike is way less interesting than Franklin and ESPECIALLY Trevor who are both much more fleshed out than he is as the game progresses. Both Frank and Trevor seen to have more activities they can do in exchange for most of the main missions having Mike as the lead, suggesting he is the main protagonist of the game overall. This is a minor issue as the activities all three men can take part of are all engaging and fun. I guess I should bring up the controls since none of what I've already said would matter if this game controlled terribly, thankfully it controls flawlessly regardless of which character were playing as since each man does what he's capable of doing without any hassle from carjacking to running up the street. It's a bit weird in universe since only Franklin would have the stamina to pull off these physically challenging tasks (mike being a lazy family man and the less said about Trevor's endeavours the better) but I appreciate the game sacrificing realism for seamless gameplay all the same.

It's a game worth your time, I just wish it had a more streamlined story and that either Trevor or Frank was the main protagonist over Mike.

I spent a lot of time driving around the map and exploring, at first it's quite exciting but it gets old real fast, there's nothing to do! Sure maybe you could find all the hidden items for the UFO guy or something but thats about it, big empty map, sucks your soul dry.
And the damage physics, I will admit that it's better than most car games, but that still doesnt change the fact that vehicle in GTA 5 are made out of titanium, not enough deformation physics but whatever I can overlook that.

The radio stations are good though
